HATHA FLOW YOGA – Designed for you who are new to yoga, and want to learn the fundamental poses and principal breathing techniques. This class will provide special attention and support for each individuals needs and to develop a safe and rewarding practice allowing you to connect with inner body awareness. BEGINNERS WELCOME!!
SOLAR FLOW - A Vinyasa flow class. We warm up with Sun Salutations, Warrior Poses to ignite your internal fire and burn calories. Come and Glow with this Flow. All Levels Welcome!
ASHTANGA FUSION YOGA - Introduction, Primary Series. and the Second Series - A Living Tradition started by K. Pattabhi Jois in Mysore India. Ashta= Eight Anga=Limb Yoga=Union. The Eight Limbs of Yoga .This style of yoga is a specialized sequencing of poses, moving with the breath, connecting with the inner energy of the body feeling victorious. The class opens with an invocation in SANSKRIT, the ancient language of Yoga. Ashtanga is for those that are familiar with yoga and enjoy an athletic fast moving class. quote by Shri K Pattabhi Jois'' Through the practice of Yoga the body is made strong and light like the body of a lion." IRON YOGA – It’s time to PUMP IT UP! Vinyasa Flow yoga with the strength-training benefits of hand weights for resistance. If you are interested in building strength and endurance to enhance your practice, or are just interested in trying something new, this is the class for you! Men and Women – All Levels Welcome!
VINYASA FLOW - A popular form of yoga that evolved from the traditional Hatha Yoga. it focuses on integrated breath, movement, awareness, alignment, strength and flexibility. It challenges you to take your practice into everyday life. Postures are perfectly sequenced, to begin with the simplest poses flowing towards the more challenging, using modifications for different levels and injury prevention. All Levels Welcome!
MOMMY and ME YOGA – Designed to meet the yoga needs of busy mothers and their children, ideal age is between 2 and 5. First 1/2 hour is a fun yoga practice shared by both moms and kids, incorporating music and movement with yoga philosophy. The class then breaks into two groups, with the kids continuing their practice and snack with one teacher while the moms experience a strong 1/2 hour flow sequence with another teacher. Then the group comes back together for a snuggleasana with pillows and blankets. All moms and kids are treated to a foot and scalp massage. Please bring a snack for your child.
RESTORATIVE YOGA – Based on the work of Judith Lasater. Through the use of props, the class is designed to manipulate the parasympathetic nervous system, taking the student to a deep meditative state. In this deep state of relaxation, the student can release, relax, and heal. This class is a MUST for people and caregivers managing chronic illness, and anyone undergoing ANY type of stress. All Levels Welcome!
KIDS YOGA and KIDS YOGA JAM – Older kids are introduced to the benefits of Yoga through movement, music and meditation. More advanced postures, pranayama, and meditation are incorporated to help kids connect with their bodies, minds and spirits! In Yoga Jam, kids experience yoga for 45 minutes and then play hand drums for 45 minutes. They learn basic rhythms and drumming techniques allowing them to access both hemispheres of the brain in a fun and dynamic way!
POWER YOGA - This is a high voltage class that incorporates the principals of Ashtanga Yoga. It is dynamic, very physical and a faster flow with arm balances and inversions. Power Yoga is a stimulating and empowering class. For the Experienced Student.
